Pastor Neil White joined Rejoice in September 2013. Neil grew up in San Antonio and went to college at Texas A&M where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets and the Aggie Band. He graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering. After graduation, Neil served as an officer with the US Army for five years, primarily stationed in Louisiana. During his time in the Army, Neil felt a calling to serve in the ministry, and upon completion of his service time, he attended Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa. Neil has previously served congregations in North Little Rock, Arkansas, Edmond, Oklahoma, and Papillion, Nebraska. Neil met his wife Carissa at the Stephen Ministry Leader course in Dallas in July 2014 and they were married in June of 2015. Neil has two children from a previous marriage: Aren and Jessica. Neil loves to cook and grill and smokes an excellent pulled pork and brisket. An avid reader and unapologetic geek, he enjoys learning and discussing all kinds of things. He is also a Los Angeles Chargers fan (which may not make a lot of sense for a Texas native) and a fan of his alma mater, Texas A&M. Neil also enjoys writing and blogging, mainly poetry and biblical reflections. Neil currently serves as the Dean for the Dallas Area Metro North conference of the NT-NL Synod and is the founder of the Frisco Interfaith Alliance.
